Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe with flag. Posted by Picasa

It was almost dark outside when we walked out the Musee du Louvre around 10pm. Peggy and I had planned to visit the 3rd landmark of Paris—Arc de Triomphe. (The other two are Tour Eiffel and Musee du Louvre.) And we were too late for the last admission when we arrived at Arc de Triomphe, however, we still quite enjoyed the cool summer night in Paris and were busy in taking photos of Arc de Triomphe with French flag. (It is only because tomorrow will be France’s National Day.) Arc de Triomphe is the end of Avenue des Champs-Elysees and it was built by Napoleon in 1806.
