Go! Go! Go! Andy...

Andy Roddick.

Andy Roddick, my new idol in tennis after Pete Sampras since the year of 2003. Andy won his first grand slam on US OPEN in 2003 and I enjoyed and cheered for him for every match that time. He has a not very good temper and somehow quite easily to be upset or angry with the judgements on court. However, he has his fastest and strongest weapons--aces and solid baseline. Moreover, he has the stongest belief that never give it up till the last second--and this is the key reason that I am so keen on his plays.
Roddick, the second seed from the United States, outlasted lucky loser Daniele Braccial of Italy, 7-5, 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 4-6, 6-3, in a second-round match Friday at Wimbledon that took two days to complete. On Thursday night, play was suspended by darkness moments after Bracciali won the third-set tiebreaker. When play resumed Friday, Bracciali broke Roddick at love in the seventh game when rain again suspended play. After a short delay, the Italian held in his next two service games to force a decisive fifth set. Roddick broke Bracciali in the sixth game of the fifth set but quickly found himself down, 15-30. The Italian made a tremendous return of Roddick's next serve, but the American made a diving forehand volley winner and eventually won the game for a 5-2 lead.
This is Andy Roddick, he behaves the way he likes and he put all his efforts on--and that's it. He tried his best to save each possible game and work harder on the next game or match. This is the attitude that I admire and I encourage myself to learn. After the tired 5 set match today, I think that all Andy needs is a hot bath and a sound rest.
GO ON....ANDY!!!
