The birthplace of Chopin--Zelazowa Wola

Chopin's birthplace.

One of the famous pianists in the whole world, Frederic Francois Chopin (蕭邦) was born in a little town, Zelazowa Wala in 1810, which is not too far away from the capital Warsaw. Chopin composed quite a lot of great music during his short life, however, he had left the most remarkable music for people to remember him forever.

I visit the little town where Chopin's birthplace and his home is still kept in a quite good condition. Here, you have chance to take a look at where the great pianist had grown and you can tell Chopin's talents and passions in music to some extents. Through walking around the house and garden, company with Chopin's great music, I, to some degree, fall into the world of Chopin. I had learnt how to play piano for more than 10 years even I could not play it as good as the pianists or musicians. I did learn some of Chopin's famous works such as impromptus (即興曲), Nocturne(夜曲), and polonaises(波蘭舞曲). His love of his home country, Poland, also expressed in his composition which touched many people and therefore, he became the hero of Poland afterwards. Chopin's works in his early time were quite happy and full of imagination, however, due to the whole environment changes, his works became sad and expressions of longing for hope and love. Anyway, I do like his music and I am glad that I have the chance to visit his birthplace.

Chopin only lived for 39 years and he died in Paris in 1849. However, he loved Poland more than anywhere else in the whole world. After his death, he was buried in Paris, however, his heart was brough back to Warsaw, Poland. What a PIANIST!!
