Long Time No See... 好久不見...

Long Time No See....my teacher...

I couldn't remember how long since I saw her last time, Ms.Tsai, my English teacher from senior high school. How many friends or teachers do you still remember back to your college time or even senior high school time? Only a few for me, I am afraid. However, Ms. Tsai is always in my mind even I had graduated from high school for so long. We stayed in touch from time to time. She quit her teaching job and came to UK for her dream--to learn about Art.

We lost contact while I was busy in my studies at Bristol and then I went to New York. I tried to contact her every time when I went back to Taiwan but......never succeed due to my lazyness and wrong telephone number.

Last Saturday, I went to Cambridge for fun. You would not believe that who I met there on the street...YES, I met her, Ms. Tsai, my English teacher from senior high school. I looked at her for a while when I saw her passing on the street at the 2nd time. But still didn't dare to call out her name. After struggling for a while, I decided to call out her name in Chinese which I won't be too embarrassed if she wasn't the one. When I called out her name, she turned her head around and looked at me. She was also hesitant to recognise me for slight changes of me. We talked for a while. Ms. Tsai has being in UK for 9 years and she is currently teaching part-time in London. It seems that she found out what she really enjoy.

Seeing Ms. Tsai again brought me back to my teenager time. Time flies...I wish that I was still that young and I could try out all the possibilities. It is really great to see Ms. Tsai again and we promise to stay in touch this time. What an encounter!!
