The 1st month back to Taiwan...

Time really flies…I had come back to Taiwan for a month. Look back what I had done in the past 4 weeks…I feel a bit ashamed because I didn't do too much. The key purpose of being in Taiwan at this odd timing is to carry out my research project at a primary school and I shall be able to finish my 1st topic of my project teaching soon by this Friday.

What did I really do in the past month? Let me recall…I began my certificate course of teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at National Kaohsiung Normal University right after the next day of my arrival. Then I went to Taipei for my dearest Leehom's concert and had some time to be with my friends and cousins. I started my classroom observation at the primary school for about 2 weeks afterwards which helped me understand more about primary education in Taiwan.

After 2 weeks observation, I got a short break in Taipei again for meeting up with friends from Hong Kong and catching up with my old good friends as well. I also taught 2 extra lessons at the primary school to help students adjust to my approaches of teaching. I, however, took some time to chat with my friends on phones or have dinner together somewhere in Kaohsiung. Life seems just quite busy anyhow…

However, I had set up some goals to fulfil before I came back to Taiwan. I would like to keep on learning my French and how to play the Flute and Violin. Finally…I had my first lesson of French tonight at Zhongshan University. It seemed that I had almost forgotten all the French I learnt in the past year. I need time to catch up lo. I got my first ever Flute 2 weeks ago and I had begun to practise it on my own. But I think that I still need to learn with a teacher. As to the Violin, I will ask my dearest cousin to help me out. Hopefully, he still remembers how to play it. I hope that I will be able to play some smooth sounds soon...

My 2nd month in Taiwan shall be busy and tough, however, I am looking forward to it. Good luck with my learning as well as teaching.
